Savetheinternet.com The FCC is now deciding whether to reassert its authority to protect broadband access from phone and cable company take-over! The telecom companies want to be able to block access to online information and prioritize their own content and services over their competitors'.
The FCC needs to "reclassify" broadband and protect the open Internet for good. Our online future rests on the FCC putting the public interest before phone and cable company profits.  FreePress.net

The Brownette Bubblecut

brownaft1.jpg (91140 bytes)

On this page are some beautiful examples of the Brownette Bubblecut.
These hard-to-find beauties were made in 1961 only.

The brownette hair color is very distinctive, and there is no question when you see this hair color in person that you have something very unusual.

brunettes3.jpg (68376 bytes)

Here we see a brownette on the left, a raven in the middle and then a 1962 brunette on the right.

Every brownette I have seen has had the 1961 'greasy face' indicating that she was made in early '61 only.  The brownette's body is the Barbie®, hollow body, however a few I have seen have been on the earlier, solid #4 body.
They have red lips and nail polish only!
The brownette's box was marked 'Brownette' to indicate the color.

Does she look like she could be confused with a titian in the photo above?  Well look below for another comparison between the brownette and the titian.!

browntit.jpg (74490 bytes)

Here you see the brownette on the right and the titian on the left. There is a definite difference in hair color!  The closest hair color to the brownette bubble is that of a brunette Francie.  The titian bubble on the left has all original face paint.  The brownette on the right has re-touched lips and lash ridges.
