Nipples

Yes, some of the early ponytails (#1 - #4 only) can be found with nipples!

The rumor is that the original, early Barbie molds had nipples. Mothers, however, began to complain and the nipples soon disappeared from the new dolls (I have also heard that Mattel filed them down before they left the factory).

Well, apparently some dolls did avoid being filed. Here are two examples of bodies with nipples. They can be found on the #1 - #4 bodies:
